Paolo Gerli has been in private practice for more than twenty years and he is one of the leading patent experts in the chemical, pharmaceutical and cosmetics fields. He looks after the patent portfolios of major pharmaceutical and chemical companies and also deals with legal enforcement proceedings and related lawsuits, consultancy as client-appointed or court expert, opposition and appeal proceedings at the European Patent Office, legal opinions on patentability and freedom to operate.
